The portrait of things
The project Voyage au bout de ta chambre (a journey through your bedroom) started in 2016 from this observation: what if our rooms said more about us than our faces? What if painting the portrait of a person was more faithful through the objects that they choose, collect and display rather than through the physical appearance they did not choose and live without seeing?
Portraits of strangers in Paris and elsewhere at first, the series matured and finally mutated into imaginary interiors.
Places fantasized like chambers of possibilities, alternately fictional, documentary or narrative, these rooms can be opened like books where things are stories to be told.
